Important Announcements in Support for Catalyst Features

Hello Catalyst Users, 

This announcement is to bring to your notice some of the recent updates in our support for various Catalyst components, to ensure that your existing Catalyst applications function properly. You can continue to build robust applications and solutions without any hinderance on our platform after implementing the latest changes mentioned below.

  1. LinkedIn federated identity providers will now employ OpenID Connect protocols in place of OAuth: LinkedIn has announced and put into effect their migration from OAuth authentication protocols to OpenID Connect protocols. In accordance with this change, we have updated our current workflow to implement LinkedIn as a federated identity provider in Catalyst applications.   2. End of support for Node.js v10 and Node.js v12 runtimes: Catalyst is ending support for the Node.js v10 and Node.js v12 runtimes, in accordance with Catalyst's language runtime policy and Node.js's termination of support for these versions.   3. Extension of the end of support timeline for ZCQL parser API Version v1: Following the upgrade from ZCQL API Version v1 to ZCQL API Version v2, Catalyst announced the deprecation date of v1 as February 29, 2024. Now that date has been extended to March 31, 2024. This extension has been put in effect to allow users to migrate their codebase from v1 to v2.
