Hey everyone,

We enjoyed hosting the second edition of Catalyst bootcamp. It was super interactive and informative, thanks to an enthusiastic panel of attendees. Here are a list of resources to get started with our use case. If you had attended the bootcamp and tried this out, do comment here. If not, we assure you that this is the beginning of a great learning experience.

Use case

Solution Architecture

The goal is to allow submission of moderated images only for a photography contest. When an image is submitted in the Catalyst webclient, we perform image moderation to check if the image is safe in an Advanced I/O function. If it's safe, we upload the file to a folder in Filestore. Upon uploading the file to FileStore, we trigger a event function that pushes a message to the admin in Slack to notify of the submissions. Thus we have the client portal in Catalyst uisng WebClient Hosting and admin portal on Slack.
