To understand how Catalyst enables your business, let's look at a use case.
Janet works as a professional photographer. She is an expert at wildlife and candid photography and loves to share her love for photography with others. Janet volunteers in her local community every week to engage with the youth. She's responsible for a new initiative to inspire them to observe and appreciate nature through photography, for which Janet needs to collect, file all photographs, and pick the best ones for awards. So, Janet needs to create a web application that submits applications for the photography contest and performs image moderation. If the entry is rejected, an email is sent to the admin, and if the entry is accepted, an email is sent to the jury.

In addition, Catalyst is a pro-code platform, which means that you bring your own code. Currently, Catalyst supports Java and Nodejs. Finally, Catalyst's full-stack serverless offerings list WebClient hosting, caching, and backend services like FileStore and DataStore to create an end-to-end application.
