Hello, Catalyst Community!
We would like to inform Catalyst users that we are beginning the deprecation of Node.js v10, effective immediately. The deprecation period of Node.js v10 in Catalyst will be until July 31, 2022. Following the deprecation period, Node.js v10 will be retired and Catalyst will end support for it.
Please refer to our Language Runtime Support Policy to learn about this phased reduction process in detail.
Node.js v10 reached its official end of life on April 30th 2021, and is currently not eligible for active maintenance or security support. It is therefore highly recommended that you immediately upgrade your existing functions of Node.js v10 deployments to the latest supported runtime.
Catalyst now provides support for Node.js v12 and Node.js v14 versions. You can upgrade your existing functions to the latest supported version from the remote console. You can select the latest runtime when you create Node.js functions, or initialize them from the CLI, in the future.
Please reach out to us in case you have any questions or require any assistance.
Cheers!
